MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and MOMSnext
MOPS is a program for mothers with young children through kindergarten, designed to fulfill the need for friendship, creativity and spiritual growth. Our meetings include breakfast, small group discussions, speakers, crafts and teaching from a Christian perspective on topics relating to womanhood, marriage, parenting and family relationships. The MOPS Kids program offer quality childcare with a spiritual emphasis through stories, games and songs.
MOMSnext is group for mothers of school-age children. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason, we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of school-age children. MOMSnext is an open, accepting place for all mothers of school-age children to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.

The childcare workers are volunteers who are mostly members of Linworth United Methodist Church. Some are grandparents of MOPS kids, some are former MOPS members who want to give back, and others are simply church members who love working with little kids. All MOPS Kids workers have been background checked and attended a Safe Sanctuary class.
