Families, let’s climb aboard for mountains of fun at the Rocky Railway!
On this faith-filled adventure, participants will discover that trusting in Jesus pulls them through life’s ups and downs! COVID-19 has come through our lives like a freight train and derailed countless plans, routines, and expectations. This summer, more than ever, children and families need the hope, reassurance, and abundance of God’s love through the unique ministry of VBS.

How VIRTUAL VBS WORKS
VIRTUAL VBS IS FREE! Linworth UMC is providing everything but the snacks. A shopping list with directions will be provided if your family would like to make and enjoy Rocky Railway Vittles. VBS packets will be available for pick up Monday, June 29-Thursday, July 2 from 7am-6pm, in the breezeway outside the office entrance.
Elements of Virtual VBS
For each week’s theme, we will supply parents & families with video elements to use to teach around the Bible Point. These will include: Opening Session (with a skit), Songs, Bible Adventure Story, Imagination Station (Optional use, Parent instructions also included), and Closing Session (with skit). Each week’s video components will be made available at the beginning of the week.
Each week, families will be provided guides for the following components to do at home: a game, a mission activity, a special snack*, and the imagination station activity (which has a supplied video for optional use).
*Please note, though we will provide instructions for snacks, no food will be provided by LUMC.
We’ll be getting registered children together virtually through Zoom once a week! These meetings will be an opportunity for fellowship and discipleship for families who’d like to participate, and parents are invited to join as they’re able!
